Universitetsläraren is an editorially independent members’ magazine for the Swedish Association of University Teachers and Researchers, SULF. The magazine focuses on news and articles on higher education and research, and is the leading forum for discussion and debate on higher education and research policy in Sweden.

Universitetsläraren is published primarily in Swedish, but every month a number of articles are also translated into English here on the website. In order not to miss them, you can sign up here for the Universitetsläraren English newsletter, which we send out once a month.

Our website brings you the latest news and we also send out a newsletter in Swedish every two weeks to SULF members and to subscribers. The site is usually updated on weekdays, with a longer break during the summer and for major public holidays.

The print version of the magazine is in Swedish only and is published six times a year. All members of SULF receive the magazine at no extra charge as part of their membership. If you are you not already a member of SULF, you can click here to fill in an application to join.
